PAVOR NEWS / SITE UPDATE	// January 8th, 2006
First news update for nearly 21 months... ah well. Once again, we have withdrawn from the public pretty much completely. The main reason is that we see PAVOR as a very personal expression of art and not a commercial product that we need to promote. We do not feel the notion or need to do interviews or gigs in public for reasons of money/selling CDs or "fame" of any kind. And it's not a new insight that there are more fascinating things in life than today's lame and boring "metal scene" anyway... Of course, we still appreciate the interest of intelligent minds and answer mails and process orders fast and reliably though. Concerning updates of the website, a couple more "FURIOSO" reviews have been published and have been added in the PRESS section. Some quotes: "Groundbreaking... 5/5" "10/10 Editor's Choice" "Forget everything you know about technical death metal. Whatever band you're listening to now that you think is pushing the envelope does indeed pale in comparison to the 2003 Furioso opus PAVOR has delivered" The DOWNLOADS section will be back online soon. In the meantime, contact us via mail for mp3 samples. To save you the trouble of checking our website for the extremely infrequent updates, you can sign up for a newsletter in order to be informed automatically when something substantial concerning PAVOR happens. Simply send an empty mail with the subject "PAVOR newsletter" to . Our next release is planned to be a MCD with 2-3 more than furious new songs - to be released "when it's done". As always, we're not in a hurry.

MDD Records are distributing a certain amount of our CDs, with additional marketing and promotional work being done by MAUSOLEUM Records. Please note that this is no "record deal" or anything, we are still "unsigned" and 100% independent and do not intend to change that.

Some more "FURIOSO" reviews! METAL RULES calls it an "absolutely intriguingly genius Death Metal album" and states that "the whole album is like a big praiseful manifesto for a superiority of an aggressive, intensive, untamed yet still tightly controlled Death Metal", among other VERY nice comments. German bass mag BASS PROFESSOR also liked "FURIOSO" a lot, and I additionally uploaded the killer review from the MDD Mailorder catalogue.
